I traveled extensively with my family's Appalachian and Ozark Folk Music band, "The Bells" and later with a Bluegrass group known as "Round Oak" across the United States for 5 years starting when I was 7.

 

We finally settled down in Sonoma County where I graduated high school and then headed to Humboldt State University to study Studio Fine Arts, Art History, and participated in the German exchange program.

After being a production web designer for years, I began exploring motion graphics and video editing as a career. Taking courses part time at CCSF, I was able to earn 3 certificates in 2 years including Audio and Video for the Web; Foundations in Broadcasting; and Motion Graphics.

While taking courses I would film various sporting events, and edited videos for the student group RiSE, which seeks to give new students the tools they need to succeed in College. I'm also working on a series of stories for Three Brothers Broadcasting but it is very much a work in progress.
