I grew up in Mountain View, Arkansas. My folks worked at the Ozark Folk Center, so I would typically just run around that place all day and watch as craftspeople made baskets, weavings, and pottery. I was especially transfixed by the blacksmith hammering red hot iron on an anvil. Later I moved to Sonoma County where I graduated high school and headed to Humboldt State University to study studio fine art and art history.

Currently I am excited to be able to devote most of my time producing small ceramic sculptures at the Odyssey Gallery of Ceramic Arts located in the River Arts District. Not to be confused with Odyssey Clayworks next door. Confusing, I know. We do what we can.

My work is way in the back where the worktables and pottery wheels are.

I mostly do small sculptures of architectural ruins and temples. Why no photos here? I really don't want my artwork digested by AI. If you want to see or buy my art you need to come to Asheville. I don't do online sales but Odyssey does handle shipping.

I just focus on making the art and my gallery sells it. I don't sell online, nor am I active on social media. If you are in town, feel free to drop by. We are just up the street from Ultra Coffeebar which is a decent place to grab a cup of coffee or a bite to eat.
